hair cut!

so, i would like to start off by stating that the fact that my little brother has little to no hair at the moment is not entirely my fault. haha. ok, it might be. but in all fairness, he asked me to cut it. and i also did warn him of the possibility of unwanted side effects. but he persisted and so i took out the clippers and a little buzz here,

a little snip there,

and viola! he was ready for the army!! unfortunatley, he did not feel that he was really the army type and so, a little more buzz buzz, and viola! he now has hair that is about 1/2 an inch tall, and i have more hair cutting experience. i keep thinking, someday. someday, if i practice enough, i will actually get good at this and then i will be able to cut hair like a pro, and when my little brother asks me to cut his hair, he will know that, unless he WANTS to look like hes in the army, he wont. <3. style="font-weight:bold;">

tampons-because they work wonders.
a job-that i love and dont mind getting up for every morning.
cell phones-that allow me to communicate with my roommates at lunch when the weirdo sub shows up.
my car-because, lets face it, my car is flippin' sweet, and i love it, and it makes me smile every time i see it, and it gets me from here to there.

ihop for breakfast

its a tradition. i think. well, im not really sure. on some holiday (i think presidents day) we used to all go to breakfast as a family, usually to ihop. sometimes we decide that its whatever holiday seems to be next and i think that is what happened this time. we decided to go to ihop and get us some breakfast. i was going to be left out, how nice, luckily my brother invited me and i accepted. so i get up (earlier than i really would have hoped on a day off of work) but excited to be going to breakfast with my family. so, they show up and i get in the car and were off. it just so happens that i love my family, and i was excited to get to spend time with them, just us, not that i dont love my roommates, but sometimes it is nice to just be with your family. to be able to sit at a small enough table that everyone can hear what everyone else is saying. so that you can all be joined in one conversation. it was nice.

we also only got four menus and had to be civil and learn to share, jayce and i did just fine, on account of were good buddies and all.

my mom was there too, i like her, she makes life a hoot.

there was a point where i looked over and i believe my dad was day dreaming about when he would get his food and how tasty it would be and how much he loved to come out with his family. i caught the moment of course, and i love this picture!

also there was the brother who invited me, whom i was very grateful for, jaron! he had some good food, and some funny things to say. hes a good one (sorry ladies, hes a taken)

it was a good time. i like my family. their good people. <3.
