"our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. it is our light, not our darkness, that frightens us. we ask ourselves, who am i to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? who are you not to be? you are a child of God. we were born to manifest the glory of God that is within us. as we let our own light shine we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same." -marianne williamson
well, christy got baptized!!! it was quite the adventure ... to say the least. at moments i felt like i was a secret service agent and my job was to get christy safely to her baptism! so much was going on, and we were running around, but as i watched her come out of the font i knew that it was all worth it. i could tell, by the look in her eyes and by the spirit i could feel, that there was nothing more important than to be a member of the church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints. the whole process built my testimony so much. i loved being able to go through the missionary discussions! and it didnt hurt that she had the two MOST AMAZING MISSIONARIES in arizona teaching her! elder morin and elder anderson did a phenominal job. im relieved and happy and i know that she made the right decisions for herself, however hard they were. the church is true! it is amazing! it takes ordinary people and makes them extroardinary. it allows people everywhere to come to Christ. to know Him, and to accept Him as their Savior and Redeemer. i know that the church of Jesus Christ is the only true and living church on the face of the earth. the knowledge i have astounds me everyday, and i know that i owe that knowledge to my Heavenly Father and His holy spirit which i allow to lead my every action. i am happy! <3.
"And when I think that God, His Son not sparing, sent Him to die, I scarce can take it in. That on the cross my burden gladly bearing He bled and died to take away my sin. Then sings my soul, my Savior God to thee, how great thou art, how great thou art!"
